BSG handrail standards are manufactured from tube or solid bar as follows.
Base Types
Generally as detailed. Base thicknesses are usually 12mm or 15mm with 18mm dia holes.

Horizontal Side Palm
Flat Base
Verticle Side Palm
Raking Flat Base
Triangular Side Palm
Circular Base

Standard offset = "T" + dia/2

Tubular Standard

A = 33.7mm diameter, 42.4mm diameter, 48.3mm diameter
B = Ball sizes differ to suit size of handrailing passing through.
63mm diameter balls to suit 33.7mm diameter handrailing
82mm diameter balls to suit 42.4mm and 48.3mm diameter handrailing

Solid Welded Standards

A = 32mm diameter, 38mm diameter
B = Ball sizes differ to suit size of handrailing passing through.
60mm diameter balls to suit 33.7mm diameter handrailing
70mm diameter balls to suit 33.7mm and 42.4mm diameter handrailing
Ball centres Y are made to order but are generally 550mm for platform
standards and 450mm for raked standards.
